In Ephesians 1 KJV, Paul helps us to understand the importance of living with a new mindset. He explains that the Gospel isn't something we can grasp on our own, but it's what delivers us from our sin quickly. He also teaches that salvation is not just a one-time event. It's something we must learn every day of our lives through the knowledge of God and His power.
 
The Bible tells us we live for Christ every day. But, do you honestly believe it is this practical? Can we do this in all aspects of our lives? I say yes and want to share two reasons why God's power is present, active, and influential daily.
 
The living God is continually and actively engaged in the world. 
The fact that He has:
Provided Scripture
Given us Means of Grace
 
The world is not waiting for a new revelation or intervention from God; instead, it is impacted by the ever-present God around us daily.
 
Whether you're going through a hard time, can't stop procrastinating, are finding it difficult to trust God again, or know something's missing in your life and you think that maybe there's more to life but aren't quite sure yet — I pray that you find it today! Read the Bible for your answers.
 
It's important to live for Christ every day, not just when you feel like it. We all should recognize our strengths and weaknesses and strive to improve daily; it is simple.
 
It's not too late for you, brothers and sisters! Regardless of how far you've drifted, now is the time to return to Him, time to change. God loves you, no matter what. Listen, God did the impossible for me and can do the same for you. It may not happen overnight, but it can happen today. 
 
Join me and invite someone you love on this journey as we walk through the letters of the book of Ephesians to help us better understand who we are in Christ and learn how everything fits together in our journey of faith.

Ruth 4 KJV

Welcome,
The short and lovely book of Ruth is a story about justice, tragedy, love, loyalty and loss, and the redemption of widows and kings. It's about how God works for the good of His people and doesn't let even death keep Him from fulfilling his promises. 
Ruth was an unlikely hero. From a family who worshipped false idols, Ruth became part of a time-honored biblical tale that still influences people today. Yet many have never heard of her story. When she first arrived in Bethlehem, things looked bleak. Ruth's husband died, leaving her destitute, on the outskirts of town and with the stigma of being a foreigner who was now an "extended family" with Naomi and Elimelech. As we read together in this podcast, Ruth's circumstances were looking unfortunate, yet God was able to turn rejections into blessings and new beginnings!
This biblical story illustrates how Ruth and Naomi were both rejected. Naomi was abandoned by her people when her husband died. Ruth was a strong woman of faith. Throughout her hardships, she held onto the promises of God and refused to give up even though rejection was her lot with the order by her mother-in-law (Naomi) to return home.
God can be depended upon to uphold all His promises and fulfill His purpose in our lives. Everyone faces trials in life. Trials can be as much a part of life as breathing or eating. However, it's critical to your faith that you know that God is faithful and He will never leave you or forsake you.
Throughout the Bible, and even before, God has demonstrated steadfast faithfulness and His unchangeable nature. Long before we could understand, God promised to love us. Through our many trials in life, God has remained true to His word. This podcast ends with the final chapter of the book of Ruth; we have looked at several of God's promises from the Bible and how He fulfills every one of them without fail in Ruth's life.

Ruth 2 KJV

I love today's episode of Ruth 2 KJV. It reminded me of the power of our voice.
Ruth was a foreigner and used her voice to advocate for herself and be bold about her goal of marrying Boaz. She didn't stay silent or let others tell her what to do. I'm so inspired by how she spoke up and boldly asked Boaz to marry her—even though it wasn't an easy quest for her to do.
I think many people are afraid to advocate for themselves or others, but we can use our voices in positive ways that create change. We can speak up when we see something wrong happening, even if it makes us uncomfortable or difficult because sometimes it's necessary to say something quickly before things get worse!
God cares about how you use your voice, so find ways to speak truthfully and powerfully into your life and those around you!
I'm inspired by how Naomi and Ruth used their voice positively when it wasn't easy for women to speak up for themselves or others. Ruth 1 KJV

This episode starts with the Book of Ruth. Ruth is a young woman who travels with Naomi and finds favor with Boaz, a wealthy landowner, who marries her and ensures she can stay in the country after her husband dies.
 
The story of Ruth is an allegory for God's love for his people. In Ruth's time of need, she stays loyal to her mother-law, Naomi, and her goals even though initially she had nothing to gain personally. 
 
This story foreshadows the coming of Jesus, who will ultimately help us in our time of need when we follow, obey and trust Him.
 
God never stops showing His steadfast love.
God provides for us, even when we don't deserve it.
God's steadfast love is seen in his forgiveness when we make mistakes or bad things happen. Because of this forgiveness alone, we can be confident that our sins against God will never keep us from His love.

Psalm 148-150 KJV

The Psalms are timeless and universal, full of hope and comfort.
This episode includes Psalm 148-150 KJV, the last three Psalms.
The last three Psalms of the Bible read as a sort of wrap-up of creation, with praise for God as Creator and Sustainer and prayers for restoration of His design in the wake of humankind's sins in the previous chapters.
Psalm 148 begins with an exclamation of joy at how wonderful the world is: "Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens—praise Him in the heights!" As this Psalm continues, we see a picture of God as Creator and Sustainer: "He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name." It's a reminder that as God works on our behalf, he's working in concert with his creation-US. We have our role to play, too; this Psalm also asks us to praise God for everything he does for us daily, for everything that he allows us to experience regularly.
As we consider all that God has given us, this Psalm reminds us to appreciate it and give thanks—and then it turns its attention toward sinfulness. The second half of this Psalm is a prayer for restoration after sin has corrupted our world: "Restore us, O Lord, that your people may rejoice in you."

We live in a fallen world, surrounded by sin (missing the mark) and death; yet, God's power and love are still greater.
Expectant hope in Christ is the ultimate goal we should seek as Christians. It's that transcendent place where we look forward to an eternal reward. Let us continue to search the scriptures to learn how to prepare ourselves for that reward.
The Great Physician-Jesus paid for our sins. Christ Jesus came to our world and gave us life; He changed everything. He removed death and sin from our lives forever. This is a reality! We don't have to fear that one day we will die and there is nothing else to do with our lives or anyone else's. Jesus will never leave or forsake us because He is in YOU- His love is eternal.
