Psalm 78, which is among the longest in the Psalter, was written to be recited aloud.

Psalm 78 is a psalm of Asaph, a faithful servant of God in the time when God made his miraculous signs and wonders known to his people, remembered his love and faithfulness toward their ancestors, and brought the Israelites out of Egypt.
